My child is League
Age 10-11 but I don’t want them to play in Majors; what should I do?
Answer:
Do not have them
participate in the player assessment. Only 10’s and 11’s who participate in the
player assessment are eligible to be drafted into Majors, though there is no
guarantee they will play in Majors that season.
Question:
My child wasn’t
drafted into the next Division with all of his friends; can he be moved up?
Answer:
No, per our charter
with Little League International, the results of the draft are final.
Question:
My child doesn’t
know anyone on his team; can he be moved or traded to another team within his
Division?
Answer:

T-Ball
Question:
When do T-ball games take place?
Answer:
T-ball games are held on Saturday mornings with exceptions for Opening Day, May Day and rainouts which will then be held Saturday or Sunday afternoons.

(Coaches) Where & when can t-ball practice?
Answer:
In t-ball usually a team will show up 15 minutes before game time to practice / warm up before the game starts. It is up to each head coach if they want to call their own practice but it will be up to you to find a field.
Field suggestions:
- Elementary School fields
- Niles Park - the pie shaped area between Woodland Rd & Garfield Ave
- Kinney St ball field - Kinney St is off of Park Ave
- Summerhill Park - with entrances on Ridgedale Ave across from Burnet Rd or from Central Ave the driveway between house numbers 142 & 146
- Anthony Dr - large grassy area behind houses, entrance walkway between 21 & 25 Anthony Dr
- Buckingham Dr – large grassy area behind houses, entrance walkway between 9 & 11 Buckingham Dr
Question:
Will my child receive a uniform?
Answer:
The players will receive shirts & hats from the league which will be ordered by the equipment manager & distributed by head coach. Any other baseball attire is a personal preference.
Question:
(Coaches) Where can I get baseballs & equipment?
Answer:
Baseballs (soft for t-ball) will be picked up with the uniforms & equipment will not be handed out it is kept in equipment hut behind concession stand at Dodge Field
